Antica Trattoria Polese, si affaccia su piazza Sforza Cesarini, a pochi metri da piazza Navona, e Campo de Fiori, in un palazzo del Quattrocento, già residenza dei Borgia. Il ristorante, oggi, è un punto di riferimento per tutti coloro che amano la buona cucina romana, fatta di sapori, di buon gusto e rispetto della stagionalità. ll menù offre tante specialità tra le quali spiccano carciofi alla giudia, tonnarelli cacio e pepe, maltagliati con pesto, mazzancolle e mandorle tostate, fracosta di vitella alla fornara. Il locale si compone di quattro sale in stile classico, che vanno creando un’atmosfera familiare e intima e ben si prestano per essere riservate in occasione di feste private ed eventi aziendali. La cantina è composta da circa sessanta etichette di vini italiani ed internazionali.

“Very good roman cuisine, more romans than tourists.
Went there as it was close to our Hotel, had discovered through an italian small restaurant guides (we’re italians). The place is very nice, not your average place for tourists. In fact, the people working there are very nice and you can see the vast majority of the customers is people from Rome. Simple and tasty cooking – a wide array of typical dishes from the Roman cuisine. In 4 people we had 4 pastas (carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe, …), 4 small appetizers (fried artichokes and grilled fiori di zucchina), a bottle of wine, water and coffee and spent less than 90 Eur for the whole table!

“Nous y sommes allé deux soirs au mois d’Aout. Il y a toujours beaucoup de monde dans ce restaurant mais ils ont un grand nombre de place, surtout en terrasse, ce qui est agréable les soirs d’été. La nourriture est de qualité. Nous avons apprécié les gnochetti au gorgonzola, la Capricciosa, et la calzone rustique. Aucune surprise sur les prix, et serveurs agréables. Parfois un peu d’attente lorsque vous demandez quelque chose, mais on ne vous oublie pas”
